You stop yourself from growing because the path forward means leaving people behind and you are not sure you are allowed to do that.
You keep explaining yourself into permission instead of walking forward and letting the people who are meant for you find you there.
You walk into the room prepared and leave without saying the real thing.
You have understood what you are doing for years. Understanding has not stopped it once.
The woman who knows exactly what she wants — and interrupts herself at the moment of acting on it.
